CMOS Sensor Inc., established in the United States of America, is dedicated to the design and development of high-speed and high-quality line-scan CMOS image sensors.

2003

Established a Taiwan subsidiary, CMOS Sensor Inc., to specialize in and excel on the design and development of high-speed Contact Image Sensor modules.

2007

CMOS Sensor Inc. successfully secured a development cooperation and production agreement for the space image sensor (space sensor) with a space program center.

2010

CMOS Sensor Inc. joined Taiwan Space Agency’s Formosa 5 project to develop the focal plane assembly (FPA) with CMOS sensor technology.

2015

Utilized space chip development experience to develop consumer chips for robotic vacuum navigation. Expanded into the fields of robotic navigation and autonomous LiDAR.

2019

CMOS Sensor Inc. met all qualifications for and passed the Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA) 6.3 audit, a rigorous evaluation for new product introduction and manufacturing processes standards.

2023

CMOS Sensor Inc’s focus on aerospace products, customized IC design, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), and LiDAR will enhance global wellbeing in the industries of satellite aviation, intelligent inspection, biophotonics, and autonomous vehicles.
